JUMO is using SPE technology in its new plant

Single Pair Ethernet (SPE) is used in industrial communication and building networks to efficiently integrate sensors, actuators and devices. Unlike conventional Ethernet with four pairs of wires, SPE transmits data through a single pair. Smaller components save space and reduce installation effort.
Last year, JUMO opened a state-of-the-art plant in the Fulda West technology park, where mainly temperature and pressure sensors are produced.
JUMO is deploying a smart indoor climate monitoring system in this new building, and Datwyler IT Infra’s SPE technology is being used for the first time here.
