Category 6A shielded patch cables, characterised by their optimised flexibility in bending, will be available from Datwyler IT Infra from April. Our RJ45 Cat.6A (IEC) proflex patch cords are based on the recently introduced CU 7702 4P proflex TC cable type, which is produced in Switzerland.
The new patch cords have a highly flexible FRNC/LS0H sheath. They provide users with transmission rates of up to 10 Gbit/s, tinned copper conductors for improved corrosion protection and high quality RJ45 connectors with latch protection and fitted anti-snag boot. The RJ45 connectors meet all requirements for Category 6A and for the transmission of electrical power up to 90 watts (4PPoE). The cables’ reaction to fire corresponds to Euroclass Cca.
These patch cords are therefore an ideal solution for the installation of modern, high performance, reliable Class EA networks (up to 500 MHz).
The RJ45 Cat.6A (IEC) proflex patch cords are currently available in five lengths and five different colours – each cable packaged in a recyclable cornstarch bag. The product range is continuously being expanded and will be extended to include additional lengths from 0.5 to 20 meters and additional colours based on demand.
