The new CU 696 4P

At the end of June Datwyler IT Infra will be adding a Swiss-made product to its portfolio of unshielded data cables, the CU 696 4P. This high-performance Category 6A cable will be offered alongside the “classic” U/UTP cable CU 692 4P.
The two cables can be distinguished in particular by their construction: the CU 696 4P has a laminated Alien NEXT separator around each wire pair and therefore a thinner sheath. This means a smaller outside diameter of only 6.8 millimetres with optimised transmission performance and a smaller bending radius. Datwyler is addressing additional market needs with this construction while offering a particularly attractive price level.
The new data cable has a halogen-free FRNC sheath and is available in fire protection classes Cca and B2ca. The B2ca version offers particularly good price-performance ratio because it is positioned in the Cca price range.
