Dr. Pero Mićić is known internationally as a leading expert in future management. We interviewed him on the subject of AI for our “Panorama” magazine. In his view, AI is a “management task” – and a “booster for everyone’s brain” in the company, from which practically every sector can benefit.
Mićić is convinced that AI creates a better quality of life because it reduces people’s workload and gives them the space they need to concentrate on their strengths.
AI isn’t a project, or a transformation, or anything that will come to an end at some time. Because: “Literally everything we can do with our brain can and will be done better by AI, more creatively, more quickly, more reliably and more cheaply. By identifying and understanding customer problems and developing and implementing highly individual solutions. And essentially all processes will become more efficient and also more productive.”
He stresses the importance of a solid, scalable IT infrastructure in being able to fully utilise the potential of AI. “A lot of people underestimate the strategic significance of digital infrastructure. It is delegated as something for IT rather than being treated as a managerial task. But without a digital substructure, every AI initiative will remain incomplete.”
